Man, was that heavy. Great work on the UI! I especially liked the sprite art and pixel art! The SFX also deserves a massive shout out. Wow–without being too in your face, the story is depicted is beautifully subtle.
I can only speculate it as a story about domestic abuse–of some sort? I had a feeling the woman wasn’t an angel but the horrifying end was just like pouring a bucket of ice cold water over me.
I say, push it even further, you have a knack for creating unnerving stories! Keep it up! ^^
