That was charming! I ended up winning, but losing almost all of my fingers. No more programming for me, I guess.

Very impressive work, both in terms of presentation and gameplay. I liked the atmosphere and an unusual visual shader, which made everything look a bit like claymation. Everything from font to meaty sound effects oozes style and atmosphere; the game is very aesthetically coherent. Very cool snappy camera movement, and good work on conveying all the information through the environment! I got some strong Inscryption vibes while playing, although the gameplay itself lacked a bit in drama, for my taste. I felt like it is always an optimal strategy to go safe, preserve as many fingers as you can for as long as you can, and just wait until the AI makes enough mistakes and loses all the fingers (this is how I won, anyway). Maybe the issue was in the overabundance of very powerful bonuses (ring of protection, especially felt like OP to me, since it essentially allows you to lose with no consequences).

Nevertheless, I still had a blast playing through your game! Thank you for sharing this experience :)

Thank you for playing the game! We agree that the game could benefit from some balancing and pacing changes, this is the version we were able to cook up in 7 days which in our opinion works. but there is so much room for improvement! Thank you for appreciating the aesthetics and the overall experience <3
