This was quite fun and well-executed! I don't have any technical advice, but my main feeling was that I really wish I didn't have to right-click every few seconds; it didn't feel to me like it added anything to the gameplay, and was mostly a nuisance. I felt like I wanted to auto-revive. It was fun as a time-waster for sure. I feel like basically for it to gain additional replayability, there needs to be a challenge at some point. I would study Vampire Survivors since I think that is the type of "emotional arc" I think you are going for with this game. In Vampire Survivors, the game starts out pretty relaxed and easy and you get new types of weapons and upgrades as you "level up" because enemies drop loot (maybe in this case, exp comes from how many skulls you revive?); perhaps in this game, maybe you can pick the kinds of units you get and how much/what kind of damage the units do, rather than only randomly picking them up as they spawn. It was fun in this game to walk around but I didn't get to really choose what units I get, basically it was just a numbers game/making sure to quickly revive a strong unit once I defeated one. Hope that helps a bit!
