I think Owen put it perfectly. I also want to add that we really wanted to focus on player agency. We learned from our previous games that giving the player many options on things they could do and fun systems that the player feels directly contribute to the world. We also want the player to feel an incentive to explore the map. I also believe all the systems playing into each other came out really well in balance.
