Super original idea! I found needing to wax the hair into place before cutting a little unintuitive, and sometimes it seemed to not want to cut even after waxing, but when it worked it was super satisfying.
Yeah i did consider making hair always cuttable, but I just wanted to replicate what barbers do when they hold hair up straight before cutting it, - but I think in a later version I might indeed scrap it. Thanks for playing!
