Thank you very much for playing and the feedback . You're absolutely right about the softlock issue and we did run into real limitations with the current physics system :D Part of our challenge is that we're intentionally letting the otters behave in slightly unpredictable, playful ways to keep them feeling alive & funny. Must pay attention to the cost of physics next time hehe.

About the gameplay depth, we're initially exploring more reaction-based mechanics on the top of the current pairing rules. For example, players might temporarily lose some companions by hitting the boundary if u r too fast as a troop, or even have their otters stolen by unconnected ones if some of them are pairing perfectly. These ideas are to rebalance the loop and recover from mistakes (or bugs haha), so you don't always stay in a certain puzzle state or have to reset the entire game if get stuck. We were also considering the infinite mode with score system we have now, which might push the replayability side of the game a little further.

Thanks again for the constructive feedback. Really appreciate it :)

When the first nokia animation popped up, I just instinctively started tapping the screen instead of pressing a button. I got real goosebumps from this on. The inner content of each mini application feels rich and purposeful, and nothing felt unnecessary for the narrative (you locked the unnecessary ones with hints, very smart choice :). What I loved most was how the game incrementally handled repeated wrong answers, even in a small game jam project. The reminders were genuinely helpful and felt alive in the. I even intentionally typed the wrong answers just to see what the next reminder would be. Heartfelt care on details, incredible text-writing, and a very well-crafted interaction loop that works beautifully as a complete piece of art. Five stars!!!

Amazing art style and music!! The slow, restrained character movement is definitely a key to conveying the narrative. Imagine if the player could run quickly like a JRPG instead, which would fundamentally change the whole experience. A little bit confused at the end that I wasn't so sure if it's truly over or if I was supposed to wait for something to happen. However, that uncertainty ended up adding another layer to the tone. It gave me a few quiet seconds to reflect on what I had just typed to the Divine after the game ended. I wrote "I need needs". A fascinating moment. Thank you for bringing this out :)

Struggled a bit with the swipe actions (dont know if it's because of the screen ratio or browser version) and failed so many times in the swing-attack motion during boss fight hahah, but glad I made it to the end! Woohoo!

I really like the way the narrative is conveyed and promoted through the “pause” in this game. The pulse signal was especially impressive at the beginning, and I loved how it was called back again at the end. Expanding this foreshadowed pulse further or more frequently in the whole game might potentially strengthen the emotional impact of the ending.

You really got it!! 感谢游玩!!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! We're aware of the mouse & cursor issue and really appreciate you pointing it out!

Incredible completeness!! Every time you roll it back is meaningful, and this accumulating snowflake system also helps light up the narrative structure with the author's wish. Nicely done!

生物图鉴太可爱了!

Thx for replying! Way to go :)

Tried a few times and got stuck in different chairs after I sat on them. Love the vibe!

I really love how you integrated deck-building mechanics into a visual novel, with cards! It works surprisingly well, and I think I can imagine the potential here when it goes further!

我与泛心论产生了连接。

能感受到色彩的运用本身即能形成一种语言,结尾的肺腑文字很棒。

Interesting card game! I really like the art style and how the core concept ties into the theme. The only small point of confusion for me was the manual "draw card" button, which slightly disrupts the cardplay flow somehow. But I believe this part will be very valuable as the strategy grows more complex!
