Eh. Has some major polish issues that need work. The game feels unfinished, and crashed every time I got past the second level. The assets don't look great, but they aren't bad. The loop idea is something I've seen done many times, but this one definitely didn't do it nearly as well as others. It's just meh.

Overall, the mechanics just need some polish, but given the timeframe it was very well done.

This game is very unpolished, and frankly, not very good. The loop mechanic was buggy, the visuals were trashy, and the upgrade system was strange. This game screams "essay that I did the night before it was due" and it crashed on me numerous times. This game needs a lot of work to be good, and that work was clearly not put in. The gameplay loop was uninteresting, especially given that there is no way to fail. In a snake game. Overall, this game is not one I would recommend to anyone.

Creating a semi-foddian momentum platformer based around a looping level provided an interesting premise. However, certain parts of the game felt strange and unpolished. I often found myself trying to scour the level for the last 6 or 7 power cells, and the momentum seemed strange. Jumping often provided a single momentum boost vector upward, whereas it felt that in a game like this it should provide a boost depending on what surface you are sticking to. Speaking of, ceilings felt, for lack of a better word, sticky, and I would often feel myself frustrated at losing all momentum given the tight corridors. The art in this game was amazing, a sort of vaporwave meets pixel art style, and the collectathon idea certainly helped bring out a lot of the game's ideas. Overall, the game was an interesting experience, with a very interesting premise that was slightly blemished by middling mechanics.
