Originally I was thinking of making the enemies blow up and disappear then I realized how unfair that felt 😅

The menu is very indepth sadly it isn't accessible while ingame :(.
Things I liked:
- Being forced to make new towers due to lack of resources of old ones.
- This made me change the way I play
- Vast menu options
- Ingame speed slider (I haven't seen that so far out of the 96 ratings I have done)
- SFX for each tower
- Tower range indicators
- Variety of enemies
- Art style is nice and consistent
Critiques:
- Some enemies are WAY outside tower range.
- It would be fine if I had some way of knowing what enemies would and wouldn't be able to be hit
- Upgrades
- I personally like them but they are very resource intensive and losing a tower means losing all of its upgrades
- Different resources
- While this does improve the gameplay it also makes it a lot harder to figure out what will prevent me from making what
- Too many of them causes me to have analysis paralysis so I just ignored it until I couldn't make anymore towers
- Shield tower and recovery tower
- I could not really tell the difference between the two
I am really impressed that you made all sorts of tools that you used for the next game jam. I am definitely going to work on my own game template so I don't have to keep redoing basic things over and over. You inspired me. Also it was awesome being able to attach new parts and sell them for credits. I don't know if I could done anything with the credits.
I noticed that some item pickups where not volume adjustable like everything else fyi :) thanks for making the game!!!
Cute art! The box was a little jitter might need physics interpolation for it. I could not find what the ambient noise slider was for but was happy none the less for a sound effects and music slider! The sound design is great and makes the player aware of what they are interacting with. I started moving the box instead of the balls because the balls kept getting behind the wall sprite :p

I got 6545!
I couldn't find any audio settings sadly :(. If the health show how much my hp/maxhp it would have helped me choose to heal or max health. I could not really tell the difference between increasing movement.
Other than that you have very nice visuals! liked the U.I. Loved the square trees and enemies came at me had great models. When things got really hard I found myself relying on your sound effects to keep going. You did amazing!
Taylor, I agree it would be easy but it would be more accessible ideally I would find other ways to improve difficulty. One of the things I did was have enemies move at different rates. I had started working on making a combo/alert system that would speed up enemies to make it more difficult but I ran out of time.
Yeah I was mentioning to another person who wish for an auto-shooting option that spamming was over powered. 😅
If I were to do it again I would of had move of a buffer for the window and enable it to scale better (the size of the enemies platform was fixed at the time of export).
Loved your potion factory game! Also glad to see you are able to fix the music looping issue on web builds. I was one of the people you talked to in the discord :)
I probably spent a good while confused because I didn't read and didn't remember how roman numerals work. I am now free from my mortal flesh vessel and going for will ride my meat raft to become steel. From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh it disgusted me.
Loved the art, textures, and models. It kind of reminded me of old silent hill. Great game good job!
Great visual effects and audio feedback! I was able to clearly tell what was going on! All thanks to your game design with a small color palette you not only made a beautiful game but also made it completely clear what is going on. Excellent job! Really appreciated the menu having all the settings I needed at the ready.
Loved the art and the music but sadly the music didn't loop on the web build :(. Animations were impressive nice and snappy for some characters nice and relaxed for others. I found out that the office worker if I activated hype then paper it just instantly killed the opponent xD. Overall great job loved the style!
I wont lie. I picked up the television and started freaking out because I didn't know how to put it back down. xD
I am now the number 1 alien news propagandist enjoyer and have allowed all aliens to raid my home with open arms!
I do wish the pause menu paused the game and it had some volume sliders. I do appreciate that I could change the u.i. selection using wasd! You're really good at creating an absurd atmosphere to your game. I don't think any other art style would of leaned into the absurdity like yours!
Great sound effects for the potion creation! I do feel that if there was potion mixing to give purpose to the older stations it would definitely improve the complexity! Sadly it looks like the web export disabled the music looping on my end :( It was a great song while it lasted! Really appreciated the menu giving all the instructions.
Congrats on your first submission! This was my first ever game jam! I knew as soon as I saw the dome and missile it had to be inspired by dome keeper lol! Great job on making the SFX feel impactful with the hit and receiving sounds. Music was just right! Not distracting but held focus the immersion. The sword feels great. The turret is a bit slow but that is to be expected. I found myself enjoying the sword more personally.
Beautiful pixel art! Using the second world was fun making my character to move around to gain enough mana to summon was a nice touch. Wish we start in an area where our first summon didn't cost so much mana. The background is beautiful the art is beautiful the palette you chose is wonderful! The music definitely gives a mystical ambience and the sfx feels right at home!
Love the art and music! I almost failed at the end since my science was at zero but was fortunately able to repurpose the shields.
Things I liked:
- SFX , Music, and Master Slider all work!
- Being able to customize the colors to my liking.
- UI element showing what got hit
- SFX for taking damage
- Music fitting a lost in space vibe
- Font is giving off a space vibe as well
- The red and blue planet logo looks sick af!
Critiques:
- I wish the settings menu was accessible during gameplay and the full screen option was hidden in there.
Well done! Definitely improved the original game! The graphics are well made and fit perfectly! Your sfx for hitting, receiving, and shooting all come together well.
Critiques:
- Need a warning of where the enemy will spawn.
- I think you may want to increase the physics tick rate. I found the controls had more delay then expected.
That all I have to say. Great game!
LOVED ITTT!!! Was way more than I was expecting!!d
Things I liked:
- The echo sound effect of the audio.
- The atmosphere with the foot prints and hints of what was going on
- Rapidly grabbing everything and getting the money noise. (If you had let me I would of dragged the fork lift and barrel for cash even if I was being chased down)
- Graphics were great! Sold the atmosphere perfectly!!
Critiques:
- Pause menu for accessibility things like audio, fullscreen toggle ect.
- The scary guy didn't come until I was done. Also needed an audio que to jump scare me.
- If there were tense moments of needing to hide this would of been perfect!
I did not have as much trouble because I read your reply to Dragon's Isle before playing. The game is fun just not much of a challenge more like a gamble using scraps. I think it need some kind of gameplay element that gave me a bit more urgency as far as the bot net goes. Maybe like instead of "bot net power" it had increased the speed of the hack for every time I got more "bot net power" and I saw the progression go up faster. That would of made me feel more urgent.
Great puzzle game!
Things I liked:
- The difficult increased rapidly as I was playing
- The animations and graphics are very well done.
- Textures and low poly models give a ps1 vibe even without vertex snapping
- Music was well done not too forefront just a nice melody to fill the void
- SFX made it clear when you succeeded and what you interacted with
- Menus have working volume and full screen option
I only came across one bug and that was in the tutorial. The game didn't freeze but it did not continue the tutorial after I completed putting the card board in the paper shredder. Other then that I have nothing more to say! Amazing job!
