I don't remember saying you were making assumptions about me personally, but thank you for letting me know. I did not know that was a thing.

I don't understand what you mean. Do you mean that there is a system in the game that makes it to where if you name her specifically "Imouto" that that changes the game to be patched as if it was never changed in the first place? Or do you think just changing the name to "Imouto" is going to just make the game feel like before it was changed because the main character is going to refer to her that way? Because if it's the former, then as I said before, I have not been keeping up with this game and have never seen this "information that is readily available," and if it's the later; then you're mistaken if you think just changing the character name to make the make character refer to her as "Imouto" is enough to make it the "old" version of the game when the game itself (all I mean is the version before the payment processors came after itch and steam) is going to refer to her as otherwise when not saying her name.
Genuine question since I've kind of stopped watching this game just waiting for it to update more, but do I have no choice but to accept this version of the game now? Because I purchased this game when it was still sister, and now, not only did this game not go back to that version, there is a separate version that is now the sister version which I do not own?
As much as I can understand the anger, calling Itch spineless is a little unfair. They are in a very difficult situation given that their entire business relies on payment processors and the ones that the vast majority of people in the world use are saying they will remove their services from the platform if they don't comply. It is entirely on the payment processors and they are the spineless ones.
I know getting massive praise isn't always a good thing as it tends to cause unnecessary stress and anxiety to a lot of people, in fact just saying that will probably make it worse, but; this game, with just version 0.1, is a massive jump from pretty much any other visual novel I have played to date. The story is incredibly enticing, although, I've always found cliff hangers a bit cheap (though I understand why they are present, especially in "early access" titles). The Visuals are a vast improvement from both Once In a Lifetime as well as pretty much every visual novel I have played to date, at least to my present memory. I understand that too much praise can strain a development in certain circumstances, but I believe a proper review is just as impactful.
To give a proper review I would obviously need to wait for more updates, but as of now it is a solid game and well worth your time to play even as it is at Version 0.1. I massively look forward to the next update and it's one of the few games on Itch that makes me devastated that I cannot afford a Patreon, or similar, subscription.
I have looked forward to every update of this game so far more then I have any other recent game. I am very glad and very appreciative that you are releasing the updates for free since I have no money to be able to support you, as much as I very much want to given how much enjoyment this game has brought me. I hope that you continue to work on this game until you are fully satisfied with it and it is considered complete in your eyes, you have done amazing work so far and I am very glad you are still working on this game so diligently.
I am looking forward to every update this game gets. It is one of the best visual novels on this platform in my opinion right now, and I look forward to this update, as well as future ones. Do not overwork yourself for the sake of "just getting it done" because it diminishes the quality of the game itself, I'd rather have you enjoy making a good game then rushing to finish a game you just want to get done with.
Probably one of the best Visual Novels I have downloaded from Itch so far. Story has a bit of oddities when it comes to the skips but still pretty easy to get a grasp on. English is a bit broken but no where near the worst I have seen in a Visual Novel so far. Art style is a bit odd at times, but all in all is still pretty good and certainly unique. That creepy smile of Nina's was SPOT ON though, that has gotta be the creepiest smile I have ever seen in a video game to date. All in all, I absolutely love this game and I hope to see it do well and even grow, although it seems pretty finished to me besides a few oddities with the scene cuts and English, and I would love to see more added to this game. This has one of the most compelling stories I have seen in a free "erotic" game on Itch, certainly has some oddities, but very good and would be a hard recommend even without the more raunchy moments in it.
I recently started using dual monitors a great deal more and using the second monitor as my main, I use a laptop out of necessity. Every time I open the itch.io client, in order to check if there are any updates, I tend to go to open the "downloading" window. But for a reason I cannot figure out, the window never opens so long as the second monitor is set to my main monitor. I can't tell if it is just hidden or opens off screen for some reason, but no matter how I try to get to the downloading window, I can never find it. To reiterate, I use a laptop and this only seems to happen when I have a secondary monitor and said secondary monitor is set to be the main one. I also have no real way of testing if this is only happening on my laptop and to see if it is only a problem on my end.
