It was funny, but I feel a little more effort could have gone into it.

I am playing with the idea of doing something like this myself - though it wouldn't actually be supportive of Amelia - cause to be honest I can't stand her. But people love her so I am reluctant to put in a lot effort making something people will hate o_O

Das Spiel ist schon ziemlich alt und leider hab ich kein Mac um es zu testen. Aber auf Linux und Windows läuft es immer noch gut. So oder so würde ich dir mein neues Spiel "A Legend of an Ancient Evil" empfehlen and dem ich momentan arbeite - aber ist bereits spielbar bzw. lesbar :-) Und ist meiner Meinung nach ähnlich wie meine alten Spiele, aber VIEL besser ;-)

Ich glaube es hat bereits mal wer übersetzt. Aber du kannst es so oder so gerne übersetzen.

Thanks for playing my game - or rather reading my kinetic novel. And it does make me continue to develop it - I mean I guess kinda have to now, cause otherwise people could just watch the video :-)  So I am working hard on adding new content.

You should checkout my "A Legend of an Ancient Evil" visual novel. I know it doesn't look it, but that became my actual version and true spiritual sequel to 1984. Because with the book I realized I wasn't really getting at anything new or at anything that people didn't already know. And the visual novel might not seem related on the surface, but trust me it is. Because there is an aspect of 1984 that I didn't really notice at first, so I had to change my approach to fully lean into that. If you want to know; in 1984 there is actually an aspect of criticizing absolute idealism that I didn't notice before. Sounds fancy and philosophical and even religious. And it is :-)

I don't know, I feel like there aren't too many conservatives around here. Actually a lot of games around here are openly promoting socialism and/or communism and I haven't found any at all that oppose it - well except some of my own games of course :-) But not many people play them and to be honest they are pretty short. Anyway, I wouldn't call myself a conservative - actually I don't care about or have anything to do with American politics. Anyway, have a look at my latest game, cause I still need an actual artist for that and if it's fine that it's not too big and a bit dark and that I am not a conservative myself, I would be happy to work with you.

A short, story driven horror Visual Novel.

Maybe not really horror but very dark and atmospheric. Cosmic Horror would probably be the most appropriate label. I have already made several games like that in the past, As the name and genre suggests, it's about an ancient, metaphysical, unfathomable evil and ancient occult societies.

I am tagging it as a demo, cause even though the full game is free, the full game isn't finished yet, so for now it only has demo length, but it gives a good impression of what's to come...

I hope it's okay to post this here. Don't know where else. It's difficult to find and make non-English games one here (and even more difficult if it's a non-English-non-game as in some of my projects :-) ) so I was thinking it might be a good idea to collaborate and make them into bundles?

So, I mad a little blind let's play. And even though I am very much against socialism, I actually really enjoyed the game and it was a lot of fun (as long as it's just a game LOL).

Trust me, "real" socialism isn't fun at all, and no, "real" socialism is precisely NOT "what they have in Sweden with their social healthcare and welfare". I am all for a healthcare and all, but that's not socialism.

Americans always do. That's why they think we would have socialism in Europe just cause we have social welfare and healthcare.

BTW - What engine did you use?

I know how difficult it can be to write a novel in English, especially if English is your second language. In my case it's actually my 3rd language. So I know the challenges. Anyway, sentence structure is very important in English. You really need to get that down, or else it's gonna be a challenge for English readers to understand what you mean.

This game is sad... all the choices are horrible. That said, I get it of course. But wouldn't it have been more meaningful if the player was the party that had to set boundaries?

I noticed that there are actually hundreds if not thousands of non-English games and other non-English content on Itch, but I couldn't find any bundles for it, which I think would makes sense though. I myself have 2 German projects, so I am wondering, anyone interested in doing a non-English bundle?

I thought this was an easy 5 minute casual indie game with no skills required... boy was I wrong... I mean it is - but actually getting to the credits is surprisingly hard...

Wow, that was awesome... though very unusual... not even sure what genre this is... and actually I really like it as it is... and I feel the game play elements (that it actually has) aren't even necessary at all.

That was really touching... I love how at the start screen the message covers her head. Didn't notice that at first.

Visual Novel  Maker... *sigh* I really like your concept and I might have even supported it, but I tried and I can't even get the demo to run, which isn't a surprise since VN Maker is basically strictly Windows only )-:

my name is Emmanuel and I have a German Visual Novel wiki called Visual-Novel.de where everyone can list and review visual novels. 

Some time back I also made my own visual novels, 2 of which I have also uploaded here (one is in English and one in German). However I originally created them almost 10 years ago, so don't expect something mind blowing... but if you like them, I might start making new ones again and make longer ones ;-)

I was thinking about submitting something, but then I realized I can't even stand out by having the worst game )-:

I have an unfinished one though from like 10 years ago that you can check out, though it's not Itch (since Itch didn't exist back then) - the idea was to make a "rip off" of Doki Doki Literature Club and Yandere Simulator (but keep in mind that it was actually years before those came out). I have a game that would fit perfectly - but then again it doesn't because I already long finished it and made it for another contest *sigh*
