The game is oddly satisfying. I caught myself feeling way too comfortable [REDACTED] stuff for the state. Would happily come back and ██████████ more files like a good obedient citizen :D

Insane sound design, aesthetic art, and tight controls.

The masking mechanics feel pleasant and rewarding. I really liked it, the atmosphere is captivating, especially with headphones on. It's incredible that you managed to do all of this during the jam, thank you!

You did a great job of conveying the atmosphere and sense of tension, the mechanics of moving statues in the dark fit perfectly here.
However, I had issues with the destruction of statues on E - at first I thought it was a bug and that it didn't work, as there is no visual feedback.

Also, I hoped to see upgrades for the flashlight scattered across the map. I reached the large mask, where it turned out that I had to backtrack, at that point I was lost in the museum.

In any case, thanks for the solid entry!

Thank you so much for the feedback!
Yeah, we noticed that nasty bug too late on the submission day - unfortunatelly didn't have enough time to fix it :(

I really liked the message and vibe that the game conveys, art is great. The mask switching mechanic is fun, but unfortunately I didn't have enough skill to complete the game :(

I don't know if this is intentional, but I had problems with bunnyhopping - if I try to jump immediately after landing on the ground, the jump sometimes doesn't work or has a noticeable delay. This interrupts the flow, which is crucial for such platforming-based game.

Overall, a great entry, thank you!

When I opened game I caught nice feeling of fear when one of cultists ran after me. After clearing few levels I memorized positions of every enemy, it could be nice if they were positioned more randomly, and actually I feel wrong about farming money from killing people who don't attack me, may be charging money from player for killing them would interesting twist Enjoyed game, nice upgrade tree!

(1 edit)

I like the vibe, and the hook of traversing rooms to retrieve keys/masks for other rooms works well. Absence of diagonal movement was a bit frustrating but I got used to. Also, as other devs mentioned - it would be nice to add some kind of obstacles/enemies for the rooms to feel more dynamic. Great work anyway, thank you for sharing!

There's already quite a large party on the map :)

Very fun and original idea, look at this cutie Godot mask

p.s. dont look at mine mask, didn't pay attention it would be persistent xD

Cool idea, though I've struggled at first to get used to switching tools fast
Also, it looks like after final level I was sent to level 1 again

I had fun with it, the sounds are pleasant!

Loved it! Yeah, took some time and attempts, I guess I'm not the best detective hehe

Great whodunit, UI and controls feel good. Some hints after wrong guesses would definitely help out, but after talking to everybody a couple of times and getting crucial evidence - it clicks.

Thank you so much! Yeah, balancing and economy definitely need finetuning, initially we wanted to include more bells and whistles but had to cut it to finish in time.

Great idea and execution, Mr. Color is the GOAT
