You're telling me someone greased these monkeys? It was fun but it feels punishing to make a single mistake and have to start all over, especially being forced to reread all of the dialog each time. I think some sound effects would go a long way helping me get immersed in this greasy world.

Great visuals, really tight design and a fun take on the typing game genre. The ctrl+w gag made me laugh, but it made me wish there were more "secret" button combos or hidden commands in the terminal. I spammed a few classic unix commands at it hoping for some easter eggs which I think would have been a fantastic cherry on top. Great work overall! It was fun, the visuals were great and the music was fresh!

A fun concept with nice visuals anda very understandable game loop! The controls are a bit touchy but i think thats part of the fun!

Really cool concept and i wish i could have played more, but something about the CRT effect made me nauseous from how powerful it was. If there was a way to tone that down I would love to play more!!

Brutally difficult but a fun and unique concept! The music did get repetitive over the course of my MULTIPLE retries trying to get clean.

Am I dense? How do i play this game? It seems cool from the trailer but i dont see a way to play online nor download?

yeah it certainly takes a bit of getting used to. you kinda have to let the platforms come to you rather than you going to them, so to speak.

Thanks for playing!

huh... yeah that might be a framerate thing? im assuming on web build? we had several of our friends playtest for us and never had that happen.

This has so much packed into it, it’s insane to think this was made in a week! Tons of fun!!!

I had fun and laughed a lot, but what’s the point of the game ;-; i felt like i killed like 40 ogres. can you even die? i tried to let them just wail on me for a while and nothing. took it like a champ. in fact they killed each other… pretty easily. my run only ended cus i accidentally fell off the map into the infinite void.

Still had fun tho. Great job lol

Great work, a pretty fun and unique idea! I found it a little difficult to navigate but I think thats part of the charm! Great work!

Pretty fun concept, but unfortunately I can’t play windows games so I’m forced to play the web version which seems a little unstable. The framing is funny and the minigames were interesting and varied. well done!

Glad to see another puzzle platformer in the jam! Really fun idea and executed well. I spent way longer than i should have trying to go through the “shortcut” on the last level… eventually just went to the left and made it almost instantly lol.
If you ever develop this further, i would recommend tweaking the jump height. there were a lot of times you could get stuck barely jumping half a block and the grey bricks were just a bit too tall to jump on but a bit too small to get under.
Also i love the style, especially the background! tons of fun!

REALLY cool game. Especially as a solo dev!! The visuals are fun and creative, the mechanics are well designed. It just feels great to play! Well done!!

Loved the art style, especially the parallax background. (Gee i wonder if there’s any other parallax themed games in this jam teehee)  The gameplay was fun and intuitive, tho I do feel its a bit too punishing. it feels like if you miss a dolphin once, its GG. Perhaps if there was a difficulty scaling where the first bit would be just jellyfish or something similar. But all together well made!

A fun bullet hell game, which I havnt seen many this jam. I think you struck a good balance between difficulty, slipperiness, and control. pretty satisfying all around!

That frog tongue does certainly do an S-lick, nobody can take that from you.

This was fun! Simple concept, but well executed. The adjustable tongue curve was super satisfying to use.

As an avid rhythm game fan, this is right up my ally! controls were smooth, gameplay satisfying, and music groovy. This is a great game jam game, a perfect balance of easy to pick up but still plenty of room to improve when you replay! Tons of fun and can't wait to see what else you do!!

Fun game, the marble is definitely difficult to steer, and honestly the most effective strategy seems to be just get as many swords as possible. Still a ton of fun, I was hootin' and hollerin' the whole time. Great job!

Great work and congratulations on your first game jam, that is seriously a huge accomplishment!! I played and also had my girlfriend play through and we both had a good time!

Seriously a great typing game! Some more variance among the words would be great, but overall excellent! The look and feel was great, the mechanics are simple but there is still strategy about which phrases to go for.

(Also +1 for the balatro-esque background. IDK if thats what you were going for but thats a huge positive in my book)

Love the art style and gameplay! Very reminiscent of cuphead airplane levels. I would have loved to see more slickness incorporated into the game mechanics themselves, but still, great job!

An ideal game jam game. A neat, tightly wrapped experience that executed on it's vision well. I played several rounds and got a high score of over 22000. Tons of fun and lots of replayability. Great job!!

I liked the curving torpedo glitch/tech. Introduced some cool moments. The sub was certainly a little cumbersome to maneuver, but that might be intentional based on your description. Either way, a fun little game!

This is a solid little demo! I love the art style and the mechanics have a lot of promise. As others mentioned, I didn't know about the dash mechanic until the big pit, and I'm not sure if I used it properly to get over. If you press Dash and Jump simultaneously you get a long jump which felt cool, so if thats an unintended mechanic, maybe it could become an intended one cus its cool :]

I made -$200 which I think is maybe a pretty good night for this place. Super funny rage game, I had a ton of fun playing and laughed a lot!

You couldn't have given us higher praise, that's the exact feeling we hoped people would feel. Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing! How did you manage to clip out? We already found and patched one clip method, really not too surprising theres another lol.

great concept! a bit nitpicky: but i wish the balls had less friction. my first playthough i scored 0 points lol.

"game"

due to both of us having full time jobs, we were only able to spend friday evening onwards on it, so we decided to focus on creating a pleasant atmosphere and experience rather than making what we would necessarily call a game lol. thanks for playing!

Fun and simple concept for a puzzle game. Lots of potential with this, especially for mobile, if you ever wanted to continue development!

great concept and execution! I wish the chef would just let me go about my business, man.

great! thanks for the heads-up!

Thanks for your comment! That is a sentiment we've gotten from our play testers (roommates). Conveyors can be clicked-and-dragged to make longer belts, and can feed directly into one another. But managing the conveyors is a little unintuitive. We were hoping to be able to add a formal tutorial at some point, but ran out of time.

hey! the SharedArrayBuffer option is enabled, and from what i can tell, needs to be that way in order to function. are you unable to get the game to launch?

its juicin' time alright
