What is this piece for? Doesn't seem to have a vertical up and down portion that matches it.

Hey! I wanted to provide some specific feedback after using the asset pack for a little while! It's terrific, the colors are great and love the water. The trees look a bit off due to the roots, they look like mangroves. Recommend making them look more like a standard tree trunk, maybe add some shadowing or whatnot. The detail on the cliffs is a bit jarring for the rest of the assets, and doesn't really read like cliffs especially when stacked. It just looks like some mud or something.
Hey! I've tried this out and a couple thoughts. First, the trees are a bit small, could you try a bigger tree size larger or at least proportionate to the houses? Second, it would be really nice if the cliffs had a rounded corner option. The jagged completely straight edge of the cliffs can be jarring sometimes. I managed to create one myself, just a recommendation!
So after trying to use it for little while, I've notice one thing. I think the default "layout" of the tiles by default is a little strange. I'd recommend reorganizing them in a more seamless way (example below). I struggled with grass, as some of your examples show simple grass with little to no detail other than small grass blades. But your tilemap made it a tad confusing where the tiles were. structurally, it would help newcomers to organize them a bit.
It's a very good tileset nevertheless!!![]()
Some honest feedback, this will really help if you can make this change. When you say "body", this should be your naked character (we call this character base in pixel art). Everything should be its own piece/folder. You're doing this 90% already, with accessories, hair, etc. Why? Game engines will allow users to "build" their own characters, by combining naked body, clothing, hats, etc.
So I'd recommend splitting out the "bodies" because currently, they're not bodies. they're body+clothing that is inseparable.
here's a resource that'll help: http://gas13.ru/v3/tutorials/sywtbapa_breathing_life_into_sprites.php This whole site actually teaches great fundamentals on Pixel art!!
