Itch has reviewed our page and according to them, you should no longer get the quarantine notice!

What's with the ellipses? Some things which may seem obvious to people who have been using this site for a very long time may not be to people who are new to it.

Thanks for the reply. Is the "ticket ID" the request number they sent in the automated reply? It doesn't use that terminology, so I wasn't sure what exactly that refers to in the category rules. If not, where can I find the ticket ID?

We have only one project on Itch. We are new developers so we understand that it may take some time. However, it has been nearly two weeks, and our game is still not indexed, and still giving people who want to download a quarantine warning. Numerous people who want to play our demo have refrained from doing so because they are scared of the quarantine notice.

We reached out to Itch via their support email 4 days ago and have not heard back.

We believe our game's page is high-quality and follows all the rules for indexing and what-have-you. At this point it feels like there may be something else going on.

If it is normal to have to wait this long, it is understandable (especially with the holidays having just passed), but we wanted to reach out for support anyways since this has been going on for a while at this point now and is disrupting our ability to get our demo out to players. If there are any steps we should take to resolve or expidite this process, we'd really appreciate some direction.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Thanks for letting us know. My understanding is that they do that to all new projects/accounts while they review, but we will get in contact to ensure it's not something else.

Hey everyone,

Now that we've started to get some downloads, I thought it a good idea to mention that we will be pushing out another update within the next 24 hours or so.

This update will include some new content, but the main thing it will include is a TUTORIAL option when you start a new game.

We realize that Classic mode just drops you right into the game--which is how all of our old-school influences did it, too, but for a modern gamer might be confusing or frustrating.

So we've set it up so that you can play the tutorial, which also serves as the intro to Adventure Mode. It'll teach you some of the basic functions of the game, run you through a short dungeon with a scripted encounter at the end, and then ask if you want to take your character over to Classic Mode or not.

Of course, you can always just start Classic Mode and get thrown right in, as usual.

If you're having trouble getting started, check back here a little later for an update with some new content and our tutorial.

All the best,

-MBG
