Damn! You guys did awesome with this, incredibly good all around. Audio timing does seem to be slightly off, but aside from that amazing art, good music and overall great presentation. I aspire to reach this kind of level someday. Great work to your team, you guys did fantastic!

Game crashed when I opened it too, even with libterrain in the same folder, won't judge until it's fixed! :)

Hahaha i've been there before, it does seem like it's down to luck. Even playing perfectly I once didn't get any shrimp! I think if you can make that luck element lesser and more skill based that would be a good direction for any future projects! Unless luck is part of the point! :D

Not bad at all! Really good aesthetic and the effects are good. I was hindered by a bug where I couldn't change mask and so had to run around to collect everything. Atmosphere and tone is very good though!

Changing masks doesn't work within the web player! When I played I had to just run away and collect everything, also it's hard to see the UI. May be intentional given the concept

Classic arcadey game, some nice VFX too!! Solid overall and a good concept. Art could use some work (The ship also doesn't follow the limitation) but got the point across. Simple, nice and fun. Good job!

I got stumped really early! I enjoy the concept though, reminds me of the laser puzzles from portal! I enjoyed the aesthetic and music, very liminal. Nice work! :)

Very nice work! I really like the concept, as others has said balancing needs a little work in terms of; If you're doing well to be able to keep going further. Makes going for those judgement screens at super high scores super difficult if not impossible if it's only the rare shrimp that helps. Maybe in the last ten seconds increase their spawn rate? Idk.. SFX were fun and the visual style was very nice. All around a very good job! Ended up getting just over 1000 score!

Fantastic little game, very professional and cleanly done. Looks great and plays even better, a little hard and the level unlocks took a while to get but were a great expansion to the gameplay loop. Awesome work, music was chill too :D

Pretty simple, but the execution is very clean and the presentation looks great. Found it difficult to figure out how the game works but after walking about I figured it out. Might be worth making you sleep whenever you're in the bed, not just at the bottom of the sheet, similar with the chair as you have to be in a specific spot to have it work. Nice work!!

Very neat idea! And clean excecution, artwork could be nicer but it's simple and gets the point across. I would add hotkeys for making gameplay more efficient an example would be right clicking to sell. Also being able to drag a fast conveyer to a slow one, selling the slow one and replacing it would also improve it. Just small things like that. Aside from that, very nice work! :D

I know, when I was playtesting I felt the same until it eventually just clicked! I guess it's just something you have to get good at! I'm glad you think it looks nice and is well made, thank you for trying it out!

Sorry about that, I know it doesn't really explain anything to you. I have thought of adding a tutorial or something to the main menu. Thank you for checking the game out either way! :)

I did try to curtail mashing keys, though I imagine the system in place isn't robust enough i'll have to look into that for an update :) Will definitely add those keys onto the pipes, as I completely agree the game doesn't do a good enough job of explaining anything to the player.  Sound is definitely something I want to add, I didn't really have time. But I know it would make it feel more complete with it, i'll get round to it soon! Thank you for the feedback and playing my game!

Ah sorry about that, I will update the description to include that. Thank you for playing it anyway, I hope you enjoyed!

Oho! Nice pun, that was the intention actually. Thank you very much for playing it! :D

Super chill, not much in terms of gameplay. But the graphics are really nice and the technical show is definitely on display. Nice work!

Fun platformer, controls feel super tight actually. Reminded me a lot of the flash game "Avalanche" with the wall jumping. Levels are pretty massive and making leap of faith jumps is fun but there are a few too many in here. Either way like the style a lot. Nice work :D

(1 edit)

Silly, cute and fun! I really enjoy the concept and the aesthetic is great. Feels like a full rounded experience.

I think the maths may need to be tweaked as more profit is OP! Definitely the speedrun strat. Great work (Also yes that upgrade animation is derpy and I love it)

Really good! I love the VVVVVV inspiration and the music is a bop! I think better levels and tighter controls would go a long way! The second level was really tough!! Great work to you both :D

That's a great point actually.. I did originally plan a little tutorial but ran out of time. I will update the game soon! I will have a hotfix later today for restart functionality, I should of added that in earlier doh!

Thank you so much for trying out my game!! :D

Thank you so much!!! Yes, I will add a return button later today. It was really close to the deadline and I had to get it into an okay state! :D

It is in order of the buttons, unfortunately I didn't have time to make it clear to the player! ;_;

I do plan to update it sometime this week to fix some of these issues once the game jam is over because it is pretty rough around the edges!

Thank you for trying out my game though! :D

This is a really challenging yet unique game! The time limits were a little strict and I think it would benefit greatly from better viewing controls like panning. But overall a really interesting concept! I can imagine this concept being used in a more casual setting like following blueprints exactly to create large voxel structures.

Good job! :D

I really really like the artistic style of the game, it's simple yet it reminds me of Zineth (Arcane Kids) or some pieces of album art.

While it's essentially just rock paper scissors it's a good version of it. With a lot of charm!

Great work!

Thank you so much for playing! The difficulty in aiming was definitely intended, though there will an option to help with aiming in the future if I decide to polish the game alongside some SFX and music :D

I actually adore this game, combining multiple upgrades and making your crab(s) and strong as possible was a lot of fun. Some powerups are definitely more advantageous than others, but overall I really this! The music was certainly pokemon inspired (confirmed after seeing that incredible crab intro) and fit the overall fun theme of the game. The graphics were charming and simple too.

Fantastic work! I hope you'll all continue to produce more in the future!

Thank you so much! While the difficulty of ball control was intentional it is a little over-precise at times! I'll look into refining how the ball is hit for future polish! :D

The game made me laugh out loud with the onslaught of thirsty customers, spamming my space bar to keep up with the demand. A rather simple game but entertaining. The sound effects and music were a little loud though.

Nice work! :D

Fantastic game! I remember looking forward to playing this while seeing clips in the discord. Plays very smoothly and the difficulty is rather steep! I do feel like the parry window was rather tight though that my be my own lack of practice! :D

Awesome work! (The music was pretty jamming too)

Thank you very much! The difficulty of the controls were intended and I feel with enough practice one can adjust. A UI which can aim the ball does sound like a good idea to add in the future though in the options or something.

Thank you again for taking the time to play my game! :D

A really solid game concept with very solid excecution! Crushing the crabs feels visceral and fun, and trying to keep a combo going while avoiding the spikes was challenging. The collision did feel slightly odd at times feeling like I had smashed a crab when I hadn't, but overall a great time!

Fantastic work!

Incredibly cute and charming game! I made it to about 450 rent due,  utilising the "Double jump" to collect as many fish in one throw as possible. I'd enjoy something against the player, maybe something that takes away money? Though I think the game also benefits from the simplicity.

Overall a pretty fun and simple game! Great work! :D

A cute recreation of Space Invaders, with tight and satisfying controls. The sound effects are great and really add to atmosphere of the game. The graphics while simple are charming and well drawn with a consistent colour palette.

Good work Hugo! I hope to see more of what you have to offer in the future!
