Yeah definitely! I want to make a survivors-like game at some point, so I've done a lot of research haha. Best of luck on the game, if you post updates, I'll check 'em out!

Another way to handle this (I think this is how Vampire Survivors does it) is that if the pickup gets too far away from the player, it despawns and the value gets added to a "bonus" pool. Then when you beat a boss (or just the next enemy) that bonus value gets added to the new pickup. That way nothing is really wasted sitting 20 screens away from the player.

I did notice, yeah! I also like the detail when XP orbs are dropped they blob together so they are easier to collect :)

This is a fun game! I got to level 49 before things got too fast for me to run away from. I love all the little details you have with how the color splats have the same shape as the parent shape. Reminds me of a platformer game called Ink (https://zackbellgames.itch.io/ink)

I, too, will explode from too much stress. This is a cute game! Gets really intense as things go along :D

Heck yeah :D Good luck

I'm sure the game is great without the music, but I'm glad it could help! :D

This looks great! Love the art style you've got here :D

Thanks so much! I'm glad that you are finding a use for the songs :) Feel free to send me a link when you get a project out there, I'd love to check it out!

Love the game juice you have with this! Really clever and simple idea. I am rubbish at it haha

Hey this is cool! I love simple concept games like this when they are done super well :D

heya this is great! I struggled with it because I kept running out of stamina until I realized I could smush multiple bugs at once. I know it says that in the tutorial, but who reads those 🙃

Glad you like the tunes, thanks for sharing :D

Hey sweet! I checked out the trailer and it has some really cool atmosphere :D

Thanks so much! This is a really neat idea! I don't think I'm smart enough to do well at it, but I beat the first level at least hah

As someone who contributed the gameplay songs: thanks :)

Heya! This is a fantastic blend between Luck Be a Landlord and Balatro. I ended up going with a music/gem build and crushed it :D I did notice after beating the game the "intense" music didn't reset back to the menu music. Not sure if that's intentional or not. Also, the popup for choosing a relic after beating a level could use a small grace period before clicks are accepted. I accidentally chose that green rune down there and I definitely wouldn't have done that heh

Ha that's a super interesting concept! I dig it :D Glad you're getting good use out of the music

Lots of great ideas in here! The car controls were a little clunky at times, but I really like the variety you put into all the different stages, my score was 500-something? I don't think I did very well ha

heck yeah! Good luck with game dev!

it's all good! Just wanted to make sure you were aware. Since I do music, I have nice speakers and I was catching stuff that I figured you may have missed :)

Heya! I'm so glad to hear it :D Being able to take one hit really changes how this style of game feels. I will say that with your sound effects you are getting some low end rumble and clipping. Especially with the jump and dash sounds. Were they mouth sounds recorded with a microphone? :)

Thankfully you can download 'em all and pick out your favorites. Good luck with your game :)

Ha! I'm always happy when people use this weirdo track :D

Heya! Glad you found some songs you like :D

You're welcome! :D

Woah what an incredible tool. I might have to grab that at some point since my art skills definitely do suck ha. I'm glad you like the track, it's a fun one :D

Heya! Thanks for sharing, I'll have to check it out :) Glad you enjoyed the music

This is great, big Mario 64 vibes. Though playing on the mouse/keyboard the camera was really tough to deal with in some situations, especially with precision platforming up the tower. Love the concept though! Glad you're still enjoying the music :)

Ha I love the name. Feel free to send me a link when you get something posted, I'd love to check it out! :D

No worries! Glad you're enjoying the tunes either way :D

Heck yeah! So glad to hear that the music vibes with you. Did you know I have a free Chiptune pack as well (https://tallbeard.itch.io/three-red-hearts-prepare-to-dev)? One of these days I should merge the packs together haha.

Always a fan of your style of games :)

It's hard to pass by a game with a name this great. There's something very satisfying about flushing a big wave of charging goblins.

Heya! Glad to hear you like the music :) I'm so bad at these kinds of games, yours looks really hard ha

Fantastic concept! I ended up with a score of 95 :)

Heya this is really cool! Reminds me a bit of a mobile game called I Love Hue where you're rearranging a grid of colors.

Had a good time with this. I never played the original game you mentioned so it took me a moment to understand the strategies, but it was a lot of fun to puzzle things out. The music was also very calming, which I appreciate XD

This is so cool! Took me a minute to realize that they only attack things adjacent to the combo, but I feel like this is really well executed. The sound effects are perfect as well :D

What a cool concept; I was very bad at this XD

This is a fantastic idea! For some reason I kept putting the wrong spin on things and locking my system up. I love the concept though, it's really fun to build a big mechanism and watch things spin around.
