I really appreciate the compliments and your approval of the visuals.

I was the one who created the sprites, tiles, and visual effects.

I used a character I created a year ago, along with some rough robot designs I’d done.

Most of the ideas and the story only came to me during this stage of the game jam, even though we started development a bit late, since we only saw this jam around January 5th or 6th (not to mention that during development and up to the submission deadline, PosionFox and I weren’t working on the project all the time, as we had other things going on).

Regarding the speed boost adjustments, we were planning to improve it. We had a mechanic in mind that, due to time constraints, couldn’t be fully implemented.

It would have allowed the character to increase speed when their health was low. The health bar you see is actually a rage bar, which grants a boost to attacks and more frenzied movements, but we couldn’t fully demonstrate that mechanic due to time limitations.

I appreciate your feedback and apologize for any inconvenience. the lack of more content and improvement in some things

Thank you so much for your feedback! I have to say your game was also entertaining. I didn’t know how to place the bones I collected, but the way you searched for objects was very fun, like a combination of Minesweeper and Battleship.

Regarding the menu, due to time constraints, we weren’t able to implement the desired settings. We had planned to add configurations for music and sound effects control, as well as the option to modify the settings, but as I said, due to time limitations, we couldn’t implement them.

We could have asked for permission to update that change, but we preferred to leave the game as we managed to get it to the deadline (even on the last day, just a few hours in, we had problems with the background music looping; it would only play once and then everything would go silent).

I’m sorry that those implementations weren’t in place yet, but now that the Game Jam is over, we’ll be updating it in the next few days to see if we can add some extra changes and features that didn’t make it into this small demo.

Thanks for commenting! <3

Hi, thanks, I'm the artist and creator of Dylandon and all the robots. I'm glad you like the little preview we released of the game, although I should clarify that I still don't think it's quite a "Demo" yet, which is what I'd like. Regarding the low kick, it was designed so you can move that fast, and there are some other combos that weren't mentioned. Also, Dylandon's skill development isn't finished yet. We also released this demo separately to participate in the Game Jam, so you can see a game with real speed. Obviously, over time the levels will be improved to make them more challenging. There are still many enemies to be shown that didn't make it into this preview. As for the Among Us reference, it was a little easter egg that my companion PosionFox left in this game.

And I really liked your game too; I liked the Creeper character because of its area attack.
