Does editing a Devlog from "General" to "Major Update" trigger missed notifications?

Hello,

I released a new update for my game about 15 hours ago. However, I made a mistake during the publishing process and accidentally selected "General Post" instead of "Major Update" for the devlog.

I realized this mistake just now (15 hours later) and edited the post to change the type to "Major Update".

My question is: Does this change trigger the email notifications to my followers and update the game's position in the "Updated" feed retroactively? Or have I missed the opportunity for those notifications because the initial publication was set to "General"?

I just want to know if I should leave it as is, or if I need to post a new devlog to ensure my followers are notified.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I do not find a setting for general posts or major update. Only for devlogs and updates.

People will have your devlog in their feed anyway. They will even see if you rate a game or add a game to a collection, if they follow you.
