Nice game with a lot of different mechanics. I think it is cool that you only refill your snowball ammo when standing on snow tiles. I had trouble with the first level boss and quit after some tries. I think adding checkpoints would really help this game because the levels are quite large and lengthy.

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'll definitely be adding more difficulty settings after the jam.

I had a hard time finding my way around the maps. I also think my dodge/roll button broke on the actual level. I liked the concept of having to be in the snow to refill my snowballs, that was a fun challenge. It made me think of the old Snowball Fight game on Windows, cool stuff!

Developer

I'm sorry the maps were confusing, thats definitely something I'll have to improve. Thank you for playing!

A Great concept but I think the map was too big for what it needed to be done. Either needed continuous enemies spawning to have something to do, or a smaller map to get from one igloo to another, or more direction to where you need to go.

Developer

100%. The hub was rushed. I'm glad you enjoyed the game otherwise!

Nice Game!  Just check out, maybe the background music is not a loop?

Developer

Thanks for playing, background music is set to loop, however when exporting to web Godot's looping doesn't work. Not sure why but something I'll have to look out for next time.

My own experience with this was that the looping property in the editor doesn’t work but importing the music asset with looping enabled does.

Developer

That is extremely helpful knowledge, thanks a million!

The tutorial was excellent, this has 16 bit Nintendo game vibes. Even the nice music fits perfectly!

I like the tutorial, it introduced what's needed without any popups etc.

When I passed the tutorial, I spawned on a map, walked everywhere. tried to open doors of the houses at the crossing, but nothing happened. beyond the fences were some iglu, but I could not throw a snowball beyond the fence. after 5min of trespassing around, I gave up. I must be missing something, could you tell me what I suppose to do on the main map?

Developer(+1)

I'm very sorry, this should have be clearer in the tutorial. There is a yellow indicator above your head that points in the direction of the next level (or next igloo in levels.) if you follow it, you'll come to a large fence that will take you to the next level.

Thank you!

Got stuck in a death loop if I died during level 2, so I couldn't finish the game. Some of those little suckers play dirty lol. Very cute sprites for the crumb-snatchers.

Aw, sorry about the bug.  Thanks for playing.
