How does your game fit the theme?
This game is about spinning packages in a particle accelerator in a circular motion. You launch them as if you were using a sling(weapon) with the press of a button, effectively breaking the loop.
Edit: changed text of "slingshot" for "sling (weapon)" as we didn't know it was not the same, sorry!

This was a fun Amazon-style simulation game! 😄
A unique and creative concept—launching packages using a particle accelerator! Just don’t let Amazon see this, or they might actually try it to cut costs! 😄
The controls were simple, but it was still challenging enough to aim properly, so you really had to stay focused. Over time, I got better at nailing the swings. The comments popping up along the way were a fun distraction.
The 3D world looked simple but solid, and the UI was clear and easy to navigate. The background music was relaxing, and the SFX fit perfectly with the actions on screen. The theme was not so clear tough...
A few more levels or extra challenges—like a rival trying to beat your throws—could make it even more fun. But for a 10-day jam, this was a very good and entertaining effort!
Keep going like this! Well done! 📦🚀🎯
I like the user’s messages. They make it feel so reel.
Great game
i love the concept of this game in regards to the theme. Im a fan of particle accelerators in scifi stories, but being able to incorporate it on a simple game, I have never thought about that. The gameplay is good, but it could get a little frustrating, maybe its just because I suck. Maybe add distance indicators or maybe the force, that way players could have an idea how far or near the package is going to go. Anyway, I like the visual of the game, good job!
This is a fantastic foundation, loved the art and visual design of the menus especially! Now just add some more gameplay mechanics, like idk, balloons that you have to dodge or asteroids that can manipulate your gravitorial trajectory, or maybe even "war zones" where if you land a package you instantly lose, and this could be a cool small paid indie game.
If you're gonna update this, please make an "Ico sphere" with blender instead of the UV sphere for the Earth, it looks much better, especially at low poly. And I'd like a bit further zoom out range for the later levels. Also, I recommend making the reviews not randomly selected upon level completion, but to have the list shuffled at runtime, so that you can't get 2 identical reviews in a row, that can really decrease the immersion.
Thank you so much for your review!
Those ideas are really cool, and we sure are implementing them in the future. We just couldn't find the time for them in these 10 days. We even tried some of them in a little experiment, but it didn't work well with the shape of the sphere and the visuals we had.
The randomly selected reviews were also a decision made for the jam, so we could focus on other parts of the game instead of adding code and testing for that part. In a future update we want to make that work as you say. On the other hand, I am writing that down for future jams.
We are still learning Blender too, and we didn't take into account player's immersion so thank you so much for the tips, they mean a lot to us <3
At the start, it might be a little frustrating, but my God, when it lands exactly on the target it's all worth it. With the theme, it's more loop than breaking... but pretty much everything else is incredibly well done. Good job guys!
Fun concept. It is just difficult. It would be nice if we can see the landing spot. I can get used by it on short distances. But with the box revolving faster, it makes it more difficult to aim. Got lucky to one shot level 3. :D
An interesting concept, I give props towards innovation and audio. The music was very relaxing and fun to listen to over a long period of time. The volume was the perfect level for me, however since that the max on the slider, I imagine some people might have found the game to be too quiet. I would recommend having the slider near the 50% mark so some people could raise it if needed. I liked that you planned for a scenario where the player decided to yeet the package off to space and rewarded the player with 3 Stars as well. The instructions were a bit wordy, I got tired of reading them after the 2nd page. There should be an easier way to explain it considering it took only three attempts to understand the mechanics. The release was really hard to figure out, I only got two stars on my attempts with Brazil barely missing the bullseye. I can see there is literal loop the package is being launched from, but breaking the loop, I think is a stretch. The art assets are good, I thought the package asset was well done.
Overall, well done, a fun little game, well scoped for a game jam.
This is a really cool game! It feels very original, and I really like the concept. The visuals and sound are great, and the game is very well made. The only two things that could be improved for me are: first, making it easier to predict where the package will land, as it gets really difficult—especially in the later levels—to hit the target. Second, I feel like it doesn’t fully fit the “Break the Loop” theme. But overall, it’s a really fun game!
Fun game, loved the visuals and concept. I found myself to be too slow to accurately launch the packages.
The game idea is really good, visuals are great but, I found the gameplay a little bit difficult, packets dont deploy really good so makes the game a little bit difficult for me.
Great game, i like the idea of the accelerator, it was a bit difficult to deliver packages but I think is the point of the game, anyway cool graphics and the sound match perfectly!
Nice and cute game. Very original idea, with simple graphics that just work accompanied by fitting chill music, even though the game is simple it is still a layed back experience, and a pleasent one for certain. at first the direction where the packages where launched seemed a bit counter intuitive and hard to understand. plus the game doesn't add anything as of features. it's the same concept, you just launch the package in a different country.
The reviews that pop up are very charming and give out an even better atmosphere. my big critique is that the theme is not followed. it's very forced and has some sense just because you explained the particle accellerator stuff. but it doesn't bring anything unique regarding the gameplay or the experience in general.
Overall very unique game and certainly really well executed. Good job! 👍👍
Thank you for all your compliments, we tried to pay attention to all the little details that could make a more unique game <3
As for the theme, we apologise for not expressing it a bit better. From our side we thought of doing a literal interpretation of it, as we represented the accelerator as a loop that had to be broken to release the particle. We made a mistake when we described it as a "slingshot" and not a "sling (weapon)" as English is not our first language, and that may have made our explanation not very clear.
We hope we could express it a bit better whit this message!
First of all, that logo is great!
This was a short and sweet experience! I really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun. The idea and concept were really engaging, the visuals were fantastic, and I absolutely loved the music and sound effects.
The comments were a fun touch! I do wish there were more variety across levels since I got the same ones a couple of times. The comment system is seriously a great idea , you could take it even further by making them land location specific.
I think the game is already great as it is, but for better clarity, you could add an indicator for throwing the package in the first few levels to help players get the hang of it, then remove it for the later ones.
Overall, an amazing game with a lot of potential. Keep going!
Thanks a lot for your thoughtful reply!
This project teached us that a good tutorial can change the point of view from players a lot. We are definetly adding some indicators in the future, and maybe some surprises like buildings, obstacles and as you propose, location specific messages. We decided to keep it as it is now to not overscope the project and make it fit in this 10 days, but all of your comments are filling us with energy and strenght to continue it and make it a bit bigger <3
I think I found my first Easter Egg ;) Cute aesthetics and fun mechanic. For me it would have been nice to have some way to gauge my shots. Maybe an indicator on the loop showing where the last shot was released from - the player knows better how to adjust his shots then.
Glad you liked it! Hehehe the easter egg it's a reference for a popular pop-punk band's song too.
I think it's a very good idea to implement that in the furute, it may help players more than our idea of the blue rings. Maybe mixing both...
Thanks a lot for your feedback!
Trying to play the tutorial and cannot figure out what position sends the package towards the destination. Is it the side closest to or the side furthest from the red target? I also find having the customer reviews pop up during the tutorial a little disruptive while trying to launch the packages enough times to get the hang of it. (I do find the reviews super funny. I just don't feel the tutorial is the right place for them.)
You are completely right on the tutorial reviews, we learnt that we should make a more "learn" oriented tutorial so the player can try until getting a good feeling.
For the position: We tried to make a phisics based game, so we used the circular speed of a particle in a loop movement. When the loop gets broken or cut, the particle gets launched with the direction of the tangent of the circle it was describing, with the same linear speed it had inside of it.
Something like this:
Just think of it like a toy car spining in a circular track that gets broken, and the car gets launched straight forward.
Thanks a lot for your review! This feedback means a lot to us.
That makes sense. I was thinking of it more as the package got launched straight off as soon as it was stopped in the "correct" location (like it was shot out of a gun at that instant). I do remember learned that kind of rotational physics before and it makes sense. It might help to show a version of that diagram in game.
Gonna go try to master the tutorial again.
Played a few more rounds. It's much easier now that I know how it flies off, but still hard to aim. Might be simpler if a small arrow was in front of the package pointing in the direction it would go if you broke the loop that instant. The users reviews are still my favorite part.
I like your idea, we will implement it and maybe add something like a "slow motion" effect when you are going to press the button.
Thank you so much for giving it another opportunity <3
It reminded me of how an enemy in the game I'm making, Axe & Bow Land, shoots. It moves in circles and shoots while facing you. It doesn't seem like a very fun mechanic to me, but it's not bad for a few tries.
Graphically and sound-wise, it's really good.
I like the messaging idea, but I’ll say it again—I don’t find the mechanic very fun.
The game doesn't fit the theme.
Thanks a lot for your review!
We understand that our literal interpretation of the theme may not fit everyone's point of view. We responded to Kobato Games with a drawing of what we interpret as the loop that the player has to break. Maybe with that explanation the theme is more understandable.
very good work
So I'm just going to rate every category with some comments to it.
Gameplay & Innovation: I think the gameplay of this game is pretty outstanding compared to the others. Like some people mentioned, having a loose indicator of the direction of the package would be cool. I really liked the idea to show these comments if you reached the goal - that is a small touch but encourages the player to play more!
Art: This is not something very outstanding, but also not bad.
Sound: It has fitting music for this kind of game and sound effects too, so... check!
Theme: You took the theme very literally :p. But it definitely fits the jam's theme!
Good work, and keep it up. :)
The idea is hilarious, I love it! It would be nice to have some kind of indication of where the package is going to land (like a circle expanding as the package gets more and more speed) because my customers were not very happy! At least I could read their funny reviews :)
Thank you so much!
We will definetly add something like that to future updates :D
Fun game, and cool idea, i had some issues aiming it felt like the aiming was a bit off but might just be me.
