I LOVED it! So impressed by the exceptional quality of this game, it's incredible that you managed to make this in just 2 weeks, it's a real credit to how talented the team is! I might be biased because I love narrative games, but I was hooked, the writing and premise was great! I also appreciated the attention to detail in the environment design with all the trinkets, and loved the textures you used for the ceilings and how they were different on each floor. The end scene was absolutely gorgeous, I adored the stained glass look at the top of the tower! The sound design and music were also excellent, the sound of the snow storm outside was very immersive and I loved how the music gradually builds as you move up the tower. The voice actress also did a great job at bringing the character to life, and I'm a big fan of how you incorporated the snow on the lettering on the title page, it's very effective!

I had the same issues that other people have mentioned with the controls for the wizard bust, and the equation puzzle had me stuck for quite a while, but then again, I'm not the best at maths lol. Also, the transitions were great, but a little bit slow to start, so there were a few times where I thought the game might have frozen when it hadn't. I found the camera controls a tad sensitive too, but aside from that, didn't have any issues. Thank you for putting in the extra effort to make a Mac build as well, I really appreciated being able to play your game!

Great job to all the team for your hard work, it definitely paid off!

I LOVE the art style for this game, it might be my favourite out of all the games I’ve played in the jam so far! The backgrounds are gorgeous and the crow animation is charming! The sound design and music were also great and created a very nice atmosphere. Really fun transitions too, very well done!

My only feedback with the art is, I think the readability could be better. At first I couldn't tell the difference between the safe and dangerous platforms because they look really similar. While the backgrounds are beautiful, some of them were really high contrast (the level with the bright red trees in particular) which really draws your attention a bit too much. I feel like backgrounds are meant to... well, fade into the background! It was hard to see the crow and the worms against certain colors too, like the dark tree trunks. Just my opinion, but I'd suggest thinking about which values you use in the foreground and background, to make sure the foreground always stands out.

As for gameplay, this might be because I was expecting it to be more like a typical platformer, but I wasn't a fan of the flappy bird style movement at first, and found it awkward that you can only fly forwards, I actually thought it might be a bug! But once I got used to it, I started enjoying it more, and I can see what you were going for now. It's very challenging though! I couldn't get past the 4th level.

Great job overall, this game definitely stands out!

Really well done, great level designs! The snow mechanic is simple but you really made full use of it in a very creative way and did a great job of gradually introducing the player to the game's rules and ramping up the difficulty. I loved the transitions with the winter themed quotes too! The pixel art snow flakes were very pretty! Great work!

Really solid platformer, it feels super polished! The movement feels good, the sound design is on point and the difficulty level feels just right, it was challenging but fair! The tongue mechanic was a neat idea and fun to play with, and I like how you incorporated the winter theme with the temperature. Great job, I really enjoyed this one!

Such a creative idea, I love the switch between 2D and 3D! The music and sound design is on point too! My only complaint is that it's a bit hard to place boxes inside the truck, they seemed to glitch through the walls sometimes, and I didn't understand what I was meant to do with the boxes after they'd been used, so I just shoved them in the basement room lol. Great job, I'm super impressed you managed to pull this off in 2 weeks!

Nice concept! I liked the music and cute pixel art, and the transition was very cool! It felt a bit buggy though, part of the map was showing outside of the dark frame, the attack controls didn't work sometimes and I encountered a bug where I got trapped in the walls, so didn't end up finishing the game, but the first part of it was fun! I liked the puzzle with the lantern in particular. I thought the audio was a bit too loud, and it would have been really nice to be able to restart from the last outpost you visiting instead of being sent right back to the beginning, losing all your progress and having to play through the same section again felt frustrating. But good job overall, it's a cool concept with some neat mechanics!

Cute and very festive! I really liked your transitions! Very nice! The paper cutting mechanic was cool too, good job on implementing that! It would have been nice to be able to remove baubles from the tree after placing them though, my tree looked kinda ugly lol. I hope the Godot children had a merry Christmas!

The art style is very unique and combined with the music definitely creates a vibe! I think some sound effects would go a long way to improving the game feel though. Unfortunately, I encountered a bug where the rabbit would get locked in place after bumping into an enemy, so I didn't end up finishing the game. It would be nice to be able to restart the level when you die instead of having start the whole game again. The enemy designs were cool though, they were original and fit well with the burrow theme, good work!

A heartwarming story with a meaningful message, and beautiful art and music! I lost my grandma recently, so the part about grief made me tear up a little. It felt like a therapy session, and the box breathing really does make you feel better! I loved seeing all your pets in the credits too, it really feels personal and like you put a lot of yourselves into this game.

The only critiques I have is that the voices got annoying after a while and the text was sometimes a bit too long for the text box, but was still readable, so not a major issue.

Thank you for sharing your game and putting such a positive message out into the world!

Congrats on finishing your first game, this is a really solid start! I loved the sound design and ambient background music, it was very atmospheric, well done! I found the last puzzle frustrating at first, but it was really satisfying once I figured it out! Some subtitles to go along with the voice over would have been nice though, it was difficult to hear the words with the reverb on the voice. I thought the little robot friends were cute too, great job!

I got 117! The movement did feel a bit awkward though, and I don't know if it's just my laptop, but even on the lowest volume setting the audio was very loud, it gave me a jump scare when the game first started!

Thanks for the suggestion, I gave it another try but it still didn't work. I managed to get to the end of the game though, the ending is very sweet!

Cute penguin, but I wasn't a fan of the music and the filter was far too strong. Honestly, it's a bit difficult to look at and makes it hard to see, so I didn't finish the game. I think the CTR look can be really cool, but it didn't work here. Sorry to be negative, but I hope the feedback is helpful and wish you the best of luck on your future projects!

Very cute penguin, I thought the end screen was adorable! Tbh the gameplay felt underwhelming though, I didn't feel any incentive to gather resources because there didn't seem to be any use for them, and the only dangers you had to manage were running out of fish and keeping your health up, which meant the best strategy was to avoid any enemies and just stand in the pond gathering fish, which wasn't very fun. Keep up the good work though, I can see a lot of effort went into making this!

Very challenging! I couldn't finish it because I couldn't figure out how to dash to make that big jump, but it was fun! I found it very tricky but it was satisfying. I liked the snow particle effects and the penguin on the title page is very cute! I wasn't a fan of the audio though, the music got very repetitive and I wasn't a big fan of the jump sound for the penguin. But overall, good job!

Very cute penguin! I had the same issue as other people with the controls though, it feels awkward that the mouse isn't visible when trying to press the button and having to control the camera as well as moving and jumping. Personally, I think it would feel better to have the camera automatically follow the player. But good work anyways, the tilting ice blocks was a neat idea for a platformer!

I enjoyed it! On the whole it was fun, and had a good level of challenge. As other people have mentioned, I thought the controls for the tree section were a bit frustrating at first, but it did feel very satisfying once I got over it. The wall jumping was fun, even though I wasn't very good at it, I can see there being a lot of room for mastering that mechanic! I also appreciated the generous checkpoints, I think without them the game could have been frustrating, so adding them in was a good choice. I also liked the colour choices for the sky and the stars in the last level, and the way you unlocked new mechanics as you progressed!

However, there were some things I think could be improved. As other people have mentioned, the jump sound effect was very grating and the music got very repetitive, so I'm sorry, but I ended up playing it with the sound muted. I also thought the visual effects with the snow and wind came on without any warning and were far too strong, especially the snow, it was actually quite difficult to look at and hurt my eyes a bit. I didn't like the fog effect towards the end either. The thing which is supposed to be fun and challenging about a platformer is the mastering the movement and layout of the level. Making it so the player has to squint at their screen to see where they're going didn't feel like a fun challenge to me, it felt unfair. I also really didn't like the camera movement, the way it snaps back when the player stops moving was very jarring and gave me a bit of motion sickness tbh. Finally, I think the backtracking after unlocking the tree climbing mechanic could have been executed better. I get that you were going for a metroidvania style gameplay, but in those types of games, usually you tease the player with an area they can't get to yet before they unlock the mechanic they need to progress, that way the unlock feels more exciting because they realise they can now get to a new area. Putting the spikes on the platforms leading up to the tree made it the less inviting path to take, so the player most likely went downwards first and already unlocked the tree climbing ability by the time they reach the tree, which made backtracking feel a bit pointless, like it should have been a linear level. I think it would have made much more sense to put the spikes on the other path instead, that way the player would probably see the tree first, need to backtrack, and unlocking the tree climbing would feel like a reward for overcoming a difficult platforming section.

Anyway, please don't let the negative feedback put you off, they're just things I think you could work on, but I enjoyed the game overall and I think there's a lot of potential for more fun gameplay! I look forward to seeing what you make in future! Good job!

Very clever concept! I haven't managed to get very far yet, but I will definitely come back to it! It's a real brain teaser! The art style and transitions are very well done too, I like the limited colour palette used to differentiate each level. It's a shame there aren't any sound effects, but overall well done, a very creative use of transitions!

Very cute game and art style! The art for the title page is very pretty, the music feels very cozy, and the whole concept for the game fits the theme perfectly! I loved the transitions! The ideas for the different mini games were cute, my favourite was riding the mining cart! The only issue I had was that the controls were a bit tricky, especially for the farming game, and picking up snowballs was a bit hard because they would start rolling when I got close enough to pick one up! Aside from that it's a very polished and cute concept, and the photograph at the end is a really sweet idea! I felt bad for kicking the tree though! Good job, it's a very solid game!

I get that creating a different sprite for the player would have added a lot more work, so it makes sense why you went with the arrow, it did help

Sorry I can't speak Spanish, but you definitely nailed the winter theme! The background art was nice, but the art style overall felt a bit inconsistent, like why did the enemies have an outline, but not the player character? And it was bit distracting that the running animation kept playing even when you aren't moving. There were also some areas where I thought the background was a bit busy and the platforms weren't super visible, like at the start of the second level.

I liked that you added save points at different parts of the level and the moving platforms were pretty fun! The music was a very good fit, it felt very Christmassy! I think it could've used some sound effects though, especially for the jump, I think that would really help with the game feel! Also, there was a bit of a glitch in the first level where Santa got stuck between 2 platforms and I had to restart the game. But good job on managing to finish this much in 2 weeks, you got 3 pretty fleshed out levels!

Very cool idea! I was a bit confused as to why you need to switch views at first because I didn't realise that the fish would be at different depths, I didn't understand why I kept missing the fish and then it clicked! It immediately made me think of Fez, was that an inspiration? The art style is cool too and looks very cohesive. The only thing I found annoying was the automatic view switching, and I agree with other commenters that being able to rotate around could be an improvement, it might give a better sense of the depth. Overall I think this has a lot of potential if you decide to expand it, I'd be interested to see what puzzles you can come up with!

Very cozy winter environment! I enjoyed exploring it, and the mini games were simple but fun! It would have been nice to get some kind of notification once you've collected the right amount of items though. Personally, I liked the snowy footsteps sound, I thought it felt quite immersive. It wasn't super clear where to go for the fishing mini-game, although I didn't mind too much because I enjoyed just exploring. My biggest issue was that the camera controls felt super awkward, when you drag to move the camera, the mouse ends up going off the edge of the page which makes it really difficult to turn around, it would be great to have an option to play in full screen mode so that wouldn't happen. Also, for some reason I couldn't start the fishing mini game on the second day, I was pressing E and nothing was happening, which was a shame. Overall though, it was enjoyable, and congrats on finishing your first Godot game! Good work!

Loved the transition! It could have used some more sound effects, but the music was good, nice and atmospheric! I felt like the room was a bit too big, and for some reason I couldn't find the room for box 4, I don't know if I just missed it though. Some more pointers for where the boxes should go would have been helpful. I like that you introduced the rules for the game through dialogue, it made it more immersive. Good job overall!

The movement feels good and the sound design is on point, I really like the jump sound effect! Just fyi , there were a few glitches where the player or enemies would get knocked off of platforms for seemingly no reason. I found the controls for doing the downward shoot on the keyboard quite tricky, I imagine it's a game that's best played using a controller. Good job though, it feels very polished!

I like the low poly art style and the house designs! The music was good, but it could have used some sound effects for the car movement and when you make a delivery. The movement itself felt a bit awkward, especially for turning around and I would really have liked to be able to move faster!

I'm sorry but I couldn't figure out how to play, the camera controls were so awkward, I couldn't turn around at all. Is there a way to play it in full screen? Love the seal and the bubble cursor though, it's very cute!

LOVE the art style and the character designs! The music is great and fits the cozy cafe ambience perfectly! The tutorial was quite confusing though, it's a lot to take in all at once, I think it would be better to provide the information gradually as you're completing orders. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to play it, I couldn't seem to complete any orders at all,  and it would be great to have a way to play it in full screen, for some reason it was only filling up the top left corner of my screen which made the text quite difficult to read. I'd love to try playing it again if you ever update the game though, the concept seems really cozy!

Neat idea! I liked the snowman transition! I think the map was a bit too big for the time limit though, it was very challenging collecting all the items in time!

Loved the art and the music, it's a very pretty game! The transition idea was also really cool and I liked the fishing mechanic. Great sound design too, the splashing sound when you start fishing is the perfect touch! Unfortunately I couldn't interact with the shop mechanic at all because all the UI was off screen, but that might have been an issue with playing it in the browser. Overall, great job, I really liked the different fish designs!

Fun puzzle game! The concept is cute and I really enjoyed the mechanic of placing stones to block the penguins! The music did get a bit repetitive after a while, and it was a bit tricky to distinguish the player character at times from the other penguins because they look very similar, but aside from that I enjoyed it! It was very satisfying getting my rocks to safety! Great work!

Love the limited colour palette and chunky pixel art! It's a very cool look! The idea of lighting a match to melt the snow is neat, but having to press the spacebar so many times to light it didn't feel great, and as other people have mentioned, I think sound effects would have added a lot to the game feel. The ending was very cute though, I did go and rest by the campfire!

Very fun puzzle game! I'm impressed by the amount of levels and variety and different mechanics you managed to add in such a short time! I appreciated that you could choose to glide faster as the base movement speed felt a bit slow. The only frustrating thing was that sometimes placing a snowball slightly too close to a narrow gap would stop you from passing through, but you provided a retry button so it wasn't too much of an issue. Overall, I really enjoyed it and liked the snowflake transition too, and the music feels very cozy, well done!

Fun little game and fits the theme really well! My only critique is that the feedback for the player could be better, the animations when you're gathering snow and falling when you've been hit look pretty similar, so it was a bit hard to tell the difference at first. It's cool that it can be a 2 player game! Good job!

Good start! The penguin character is very cute and the background art looks very pretty, although for some reason it wasn't displaying properly in my browser (it didn't fill the screen, only the top left corner?). Some sound effects would go a long way to bringing the game to life imo, but you did mention the game is unfinished, good work though, it looks promising!

Nice collection of mini-games! The character designs were very pretty too! Although the art style did feel a bit inconsistent. It would have been nice if the character was animated, but I totally get the time constraint. I'm impressed you managed to have this much variety in such a short time, good work!

I didn't realize there was more than one game at first!! Love the cozy music and pretty pixel art, I really like the clock design in particular, and the transitions were lovely! The controls for the mini-games felt a bit fiddly to me, but it's impressive that you managed to pack so much into one game. Good work!

Pretty background art and nice enemy designs! I felt like the movement was a bit too slow though and the jumps could benefit from some coyote time, I found them a bit too tricky, but the melting idea is neat and fits well with the theme!

I really loved cute animals, very adorable!! The idea for the gameplay is neat, but it does get repetitive once you've figured out all the combinations though, a bit more variety would be great. I also ran into the bug where the music stopped looping, and there seems to be a glitch were some of the animals didn't appear and instead there was just a white square, but it only happened a couple of times. I'd have liked it if the game had a win condition, but for what it is, it was cute! The cloud and star effects on the title page were pretty too!

I found it a bit confusing at first, but once I figured it out, it's a neat idea! Not very intuitive but and interesting concept, I liked the transition with the flying penguins too!
