I have a high fantasy project in development! It's a full comic project though, but I'm open to rev share. Message me on discord at thebluehand_ for more info, or check my thread posted earlier.

Hello! If this offer is still open, I have a project you may be interested in. It's not a visual novel, but is a full comic series. I'm open to rev share and could be contacted on Instagram at themysticautistic_ or discord at thebluehand_ . I posted a thread earlier with more info on the project too.

Hello! I'm a writer who has recently finished editing scripts for my indie comic series Pantheon, and I'm looking for an artist who would like to work with me and create (and color) the panels for the issues. I would handle panel formatting and text bubbles myself.

The series is 21 issues long and follows a group of super powered teens who have defected from the ruling class of powered beings to aid the non-powered resistance in liberation, all set in an expansive fantasy realm. If you enjoy X-Men, inhumans, or a good high fantasy this is the project for you!

I currently do not have the budget to provide a page rate but am glad to offer a 25-30% revenue share from Global comix, Itch, and Kofi donations, and offer my writing and editing services on any of your projects as well. I have 2 years experience scripting for games with Heatwave studios and have extensive experience writing prose (Search my username on Royal Road and Wattpad for story examples), so rest assured I am a dedicated partner. Message me on Instagram at themysticautistic_ or friend me on discord at thebluehand_ if you're interested!

I've been trying to learn coding off and on since like 7, it's still just chicken scratch for me. It would be nice to try building a game project solo and I wondered if anyone knew some good codeless engines? Also, what might their limitations be (E.g. will they break from a simple fighter game or could one handle a semi-complex card game?) as well as usual learning curve.

I'm really hoping Scratch is not my only option...

As the title says. Describe your game as the piece(s) of merch that match it the best. If it's posted, drop a link! If it's just a dream idea or still in progress, still throw an item anyway.

For Nature's Revolt, I'd say building sets, mega construx style. Either that or a good board game.

I got into gamedev through a club at my school. It's been really fun gaining experience and I do have a plan for a full game project, but my coding is abysmal so until I get past the standard "full-time student" phase and/or find help I'm fine staying a hobbyist lol

Yeah, exactly like that! I've seen events like that on Wattpad and AO3, and there are enough narrative folks on here to be pretty fun. Might start one myself if I can set a good prize haha.

Thanks for the recommendations on the music jams! I'll be sure to check those out!

Obviously Itch is game focused (despite the ol' comic tab still existing), but have the writers and musicians of Itch ever tried organizing a writing or music jam? Bit biased since I'm a writer but I think it'd be fun.

Come check out my prototype for Nature's Revolt: The Apollyon Crisis! In this demo, you navigate a 3D platformer world as you use a Match-3 board to attack enemies and learn about ecology. This prototype is honestly a bit out of date (School may have made me forget about posting this for... a year...) as a lot of battle mechanics have changed, but it was a fun learning curve writing and designing this. Currently this project is on pause while I figure out which of 2 projects to prioritize but if you're a wildlife or environmental nerd and wanna chat about the idea that's fine with me!

I know Daz has plenty of in-house add-ons but most of Itch's are honestly way cheaper (Why the heck is a pack of dogs 100 bucks???). There's not a tag for Daz when searching so is it just a way more niche tool (For non-NSFW purposes anyway) than I thought?
